Greetings and peace to you in the Name of Jesus from Moscow Russia.
I pray this message finds you all well and full of joy! It should because we who believe have been given a Hope that can not disappoint. Because God has poured His love into our Hearts!
Let us relentlessly take this Hope to the world.
We are slowly settling in and beginning to pray for for particulars. Such as where God wants us to live in Moscow and which ministry program to begin first if any of them right now.
I have been prayer walking almost daily and will be walking around the Kremlin in prayer tomorrow.
Should i walk 7 times around the Kremlin? Interesting thought.
There is a Jewish couple that we have become good friends with. The wife {Elena} is truly open to the scriptures. When i showed them the Messianic worship services it was really awesome how they were drawn in.
We rent their upstairs apartment and we share downstairs kitchen. Many mornings Boris has his Torah open and i have the Bible open across from each other. Reading silently and drinking coffee.
Yesterday i shared with Boris how difficult it is for me to pray for Larisa's ex-husband right now.
But i must pray for my heart to be softened and for God to be merciful to me for my own transgressions which include not given Him what He is worthy of. All of me! Daily praise and prayer and thankfullness for all He has already done for me.
If God chooses to never answer another prayer for me or He never allows me a second within His presence again in this body. God has already done more for me than i deserve or can truly imagine!
I know Boris and Elena are a piece of the puzzle for my existence in Russia.
This coming Saturday i will be at the private school in Moscow with 40ish students and staff for a Renassiance competition among the students. We judges get to ask questions to thestudents while in character.
I.E. Last time i asked "Ben Franklin" how he felt concerning the active president of the U.S. stomping, disrespecting and refusing to adhere to the US Consitution that he {Ben Franklin} was such a vital influence over in its creation?
And what would he say to such a president who clearly has no intention of ever giving the constitution its due respect?
The response from the crowd was full of oohs and ahhs! And of course the liberals came runnng out from under the rocks they had been hiding under.
The principle is a devout christian. We will meet again tomorrow to discuss exact details of the orphans outreach program she has asked me to be heavily involved with. Moscow region has possibly hundreds of orphanages.
I also now feel led to go into the city dumps and try to connect with the many street children now living among the trash and waste of Moscow. This is shown on the video below.
Within the next 3 weeks i will return to St. Petersburg. And we will get an opportunity to return a children's shelter. Also there are 2 orphans that were scheduled to be adopted but got caught up in the anti-american adoption law process. They are apart from each other and from their forever family in the US.
Praying i can get to hug them on behalf of their family and pray with them. Give them love and hope. Allow them know to know THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!! There are a few like this i have the chance to connect with!
Soon we will be in Vladimir to spend time with the blind school orphans. I truly love this time because it teaches me more about how i am to trust God. Also they are so so precious and craving for gentle loving hands to hold. And someone to just love them for no reason except they are lovable!!
Larisa is just awesome! Yesterday she took the bus over to me after her work. She then made chicken, potatoes and strawberry pie. She walked half a mile after the bus with bags in both hands. Of course i would have met her and carried the bags but she didn't call until she was close.
She is like a little soldier. When she has her mind on something just let her do her thing. She rarely asks for help.
I have learned that is actually her way to ask. So i am learning to anticipate her needs and cut her off at the pass. Its really cool because i find often she does the same.
It seems to be the Russian way. Think ahead for each other and do what you know needs to be done without fanfare or extra attention. I have aways believed we should not reward our children in the US for doing the basic expectations of life such as washing their own dishes, clothing clothes in the hamper, cleaning rooms and even working in the yard. Family is first!!
It does not come after careers or self. God is first of course but you know what i mean.
I will begin my Russian training in school very soon. This is one area where i truly need urgent suport. 2-3 months of support for this is needed which is around $2800. 5 months has been given but 3 more months of langauge training is urgently needed.
