I hope all is well with you and hope that we all can get to know you here on this site. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you with this network. I pray you have a blessed weekend.
Here in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving every year on the fourth Thursday of November. Canada celebrates theirs on the second Monday. There are other countries in the world that celebrate a similar holiday. There is a deep history about this holiday and also some debates. Our Thanksgiving to God should not be celebrated on just one national holiday but a daily occurrence on our lips and especially from our hearts.
There are many things that we should be thankful for, and may I ask you from this day forward to do just that? At some point each day, take the time to be in prayer thanking our Creator and lover of our souls for all He has done and continues to do.
Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
It is a blessing to have you as a member of the new Cross Roads Fellowship site. Thank you for your patience while we build this site. Please let us know what you think so far and how we can help make this site more comfortable for you.
Welcome home to the new Cross Roads Fellowship. May I call you Benjamine? I first want to mention that we have a translator, if you need it on the very top of the page. It is a gray box that says "select language". As you can tell, we are still under construction and will be for some time. There are some very important tools that we still are waiting for from Ning, but we can still work on profile pages and other pages and give God the glory while we are doing it. To find the tabs, you must first click the menu tab on the top left hand corner of your page.
We are a Christian family, sharing blogs, pictures, videos, prayers and the love of Jesus with one another. I want you to pay particular attention to the groups pages. Although they are not yet completed and there are many more groups to be added in the near future, I believe that this is where the majority of the activity will be.
Please keep this network and all members in prayer. I will try to fill everyone in with improvements as they unfold. Again, welcome and have fun learning with me. If you have any questions, please drop me a note.
May God lead you and bless you,
Jim
